TV (Samsung) Remote Control APK turns your smartphone into a convenient remote for your Samsung TV via a local network or IR blaster (if your Android device has one). With this app, you have two options:
1. Network IP Control (WiFi/WiFi Direct/LAN)
The app works with Samsung TV models C, D, E, F, K, and M (2016+), but not with H and F models.
Setup Steps:
- Turn on the TV you want to control.
- Ensure your phone and TV are connected to the same local network (WiFi or LAN).
- Disable the privacy separator feature on your router if enabled.
- You can manually input the TV’s IP address by navigating to:
[Menu] → [Settings] → [Network] → [Network Status].
Troubleshooting:
- If you declined the confirmation request on your TV (accept device), change the settings at:
[Menu] → [General Settings] → [External Device Manager] → [Device Connection Manager] → [Device List]. - For older TVs:
[Menu] → [Network] → [Expert Settings] → [Mobile Device Manager]or[Menu] → [Network] → [AllShare Settings]. - To disable the “accept device” notification:
[Menu] → [Settings General] → [External Device Manager] → [Device Connection Manager]and set[Access Notification] → "First Time Only". - If a PIN code is requested, the app won’t work with that TV.
2. Infrared (IR) Control
This feature works on phones and tablets with an IR blaster, such as Samsung Galaxy S, HTC One, LG G3/G4/G5, Xiaomi Mi/Redmi/Note, Huawei Mate/Honor, etc.
Support:
- Tested with Samsung F and M models, and may work with Samsung Smart TVs built after 2005.
- Point the phone’s IR blaster directly at the TV. Typical range is 1-3 meters.
Note:
- In power-saving mode or with low battery, the IR range may decrease.
- The app is not intended to fully replace the original remote but serves as an emergency solution.
